Glacieron is a Pre-Hardmode boss that is fought in the Snow Biome. He is intended to be fought Post-Skeletron.
While Glacieron is alive, his exclusive music will play.
Summoning[ | ]
Glacieron does not spawn on his own and is summoned by using Frozen Food in the Snow Biome at anytime.
Behavior[ | ]
Glacieron charges at the player frequently, remaining stationary after each series of charging to perform a projectile attack before charging again.
Phase 1[ | ]
- Charges towards the player 3 times.
- Uses one of the following 3 attacks which he cycles through:
- Fires 3 Ice Bolts in a row at the player.
- Fires 2 successive fans of 3 Ice Spikes at the player.
- Fires a small Ice Vortex towards the player.
Phase 2[ | ]
At 50% HP, Glacieron roars and summons a blizzard - this effect is purely visual and does not affect gameplay. He now uses the following attacks.
- Charges towards the player 3 times.
- Flies horizontally above the player, dropping Ice Bolts from above as he flies.
- Uses one of the following 3 attacks which he cycles through:
- Shoots 5 short-ranged Ice Waves at the player.
- Fires 3 successive fans of 5 Ice Spikes at the player.
- Releases a slow moving Ice Ring towards the player, which after some time transforms into a stationary Giant Ice Tornado that lingers for 10 seconds.
Tips[ | ]
- Be aware of when the Giant Ice Tornado is about to be summoned, as if not careful, it can block you off from most of your arena, corner you in a small space, or trap you within it and quickly kill you.
