The Ultranium Mod currently adds 1 new unique event into the game
Abyssal Armageddon[ | ]
The Abyssal Armageddon is an endgame post Moon Lord invasion event added by the Ultranium Mod that occurs when the player uses Dark Resonator during nighttime. The event features many powerful eldritch-themed enemies and 2 bosses. This event is necessary to the mod's progression as all the enemies and bosses drop required endgame equipment materials.
The event will go as follows:
the event runs on a timer that lasts for a total of 7 minutes. However, the timer will completely stop while the Mind Flayer or Erebus are alive. During the event, time will be completely frozen at 7:30 pm (which is when night first begins) as to give players an unlimited time to complete the event and fight the enemies and bosses. The event consists of 2 different phases. The event will initially begin in phase 1, where the most simple enemies will spawn. Half way in the event, a gray portal will appear above the player that will spawn the Mind Flayer. After the Mind Flayer is defeated, the event will enter into phase 2, where much more difficult enemies will spawn in much bigger swarms. at the very end of the event, a giant purple portal will appear that will spawn Erebus. When Erebus is defeated, the event will instantly end.
