  • The admin noticeboard is one way for users to notify administrators of issues requiring administrative attention. Users are also welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), but posting here can more reliably ensure that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond promptly. Remember to sign when posting an issue.
    • Post only issues that require administrative action, e.g. blocking vandals, protecting pages, or restoring deleted pages.
    • Do not post deletion requests here. Add {{delete}} to the top of the target page instead. In most cases, add the delete tag, rather than replacing the entire page content with it, so that administrators can easily verify that the content was deletable.
    • Do not post issues here regarding content disputes. Try posting to the community noticeboard instead.

Vandalism reports: Posting here should be a last resort. Revert first, as anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene.

Creating a new request – vandals
    1. Edit the Vandal reports section
    2. At the top of the list, use the {{vandal|IP address or username here}} template. Provide a short and neutral summary of the issue.
Creating a new request – non-vandal cases (e.g. user issues, page protection/undeletion, etc.)
    1. Add a new section (+) to the page and enter an appropriate title (without using templates or links) in the subject field.
    2. In the edit field, enter a short and neutral summary of the issue. Use the {{user|IP address or username here}} template to refer to users involved with the case and provide links to important pages or edits.
    3. As a courtesy, also leave a message on the talk page of any involved user.
    Deletion Candidates
There are 1,785 candidates for deletion, too many to display them here.

Approval for creating a template for SGAmod

Incredibly sorry if this is not the correct location, please direct me to the correct place if this isn't it. I'm currently part of the team for SGAmod trying to create a wiki. I've noticed it would be helpful to create a template, very similar to the expert mode one, like this, for a difficulty mode the mod adds, but stylized differently (and which also links to the difficulty page, not to the normal expert mode page). As far as I'm aware, the template can't be on a sub-page, as in, I can't have a template of "SGAmod/Template:templatename". So this is me requesting approval to create a template on main domain. (Moreover, if someone can direct me on how to view raw template code, that would be nice. Like stated above, I want to view the code for the expert-mode template)

While there are no admins currently active, I can answer your questions. The template should be named "Template:SGAMod/Templatename", as this is the standard for modded templates. The source editor is the only way to edit templates, you'll have to use that. I could try to create the template, as I have some (limited) knowledge of the way the template works, but you might want to create it instead as you're helping with the wiki. --172.58.4.154 12:03, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
This is absolutely the right place for questions like these, don't worry. It's great to hear you want to create a wiki for your mod!
172.58.4.154 is correct, mod-specific templates are subtemplates of a Template:<modname>, and you don't require admin approval for creating them. I have taken a look at Template:SGAmod/Nightmare and fixed the problems it had. Most importantly, this wiki does not support localization like the vanilla wiki does, since there is no need for that as no translation project has started here yet. Therefore, you can't use {{l10n}} – simply hard-code the strings into the base template code. Secondly, don't use <style> tags. All styling should either be in MediaWiki:Common.css (preferred) or inline, i.e. hard-coded into the template. I have moved your styling code to Common.css; if you want to experiment with it, feel free to do that in your personal personal CSS, and when you want to publish changes for everyone to see, post what needs to be updated on MediaWiki talk:Common.css so an admin can apply your changes.
Should you need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask. You can also use the Community noticeboard, if you like.

The mod logo for Qwerty's Bosses and Items is outdated, but I can't upload the new version because it's used on the main page. Could somebody who has the proper user rights do it? — Godslayerchickennugget (talk | contribs) 14:01, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Sure, if you can provide a link to the new logo, I can update it. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 00:08, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
A bit late, I don't have a link to the new logo but I can upload a file that you could then use to update the logo. Would that work? — Godslayerchickennugget (talk | contribs)
Yes, that is possible, too. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 15:54, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
    Done, it's at File:New Logo (Qwerty's Bosses and Items).png. — Godslayerchickennugget (talk | contribs) 15:58, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Alright, main file is updated. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 16:11, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

Adding a new mod to the featured list

    Hi Admin Team,

I've got the wiki for my mod, the Amulet of Many Minions, pretty well fleshed out. Would it be possible for you to add it to the featured mods list? Sorry if this is not the right place to ask, and thanks for the help!

    Billybobmcbo (talk) 00:05, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi, sure, this is the right place. I've added the mod, good job! --Rye Greenwood (talk) 17:19, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

    Featured list request: Polarities Mod

Seeing as apparently this is the place to do this, I'd like to request adding the Polarities Mod wiki to the featured mods list. I've put a ton of work into it; excuse the bragging, but there's not a single red link and that's something pretty rare among even small mods here, let alone something with eight bosses, an event, and three new weapon subclasses. Give it a check, I think you'll be impressed! Thanks for your time! Bubbyboytoo81018 (talk) 20:33, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Good job! I've added it. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 02:57, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

Adding a mod to the mods dropdown

    Hi Admin team,

I am sorry to bother with a similar request to the one I made several months ago, but would it be possible to add the Amulet Of Many Minions to the Mods dropdown on the navbar as well? I've recently gone through and touched up all the out of date content, so the wiki should be in a pretty good state. Thanks again for the help!
