• The admin noticeboard is one way for users to notify administrators of issues requiring administrative attention. Users are also welcome to directly contact specific administrators (especially if they are seen to be active), but posting here can more reliably ensure that at least one admin will notice an issue and respond promptly. Remember to sign when posting an issue.
• Post only issues that require administrative action, e.g. blocking vandals, protecting pages, or restoring deleted pages.
• Do not post deletion requests here. Add delete to the top of the target page instead. In most cases, add the delete tag, rather than replacing the entire page content with it, so that administrators can easily verify that the content was deletable.
• Do not post issues here regarding content disputes. Try posting to the community noticeboard instead.

Vandalism reports: Posting here should be a last resort. Revert first, as anyone can do so. If the vandal created a new page, tag it for deletion. Assume good faith and consider leaving a message on that user's talk page to explain the reason. Post here only if the user has made several disruptive edits and/or persists despite a warning. Always avoid a revert war with the vandal; it is far better to wait until an admin has a chance to intervene.

Creating a new request – vandals
1. Edit the Vandal reports section
2. At the top of the list, use the IP address or username here template. Provide a short and neutral summary of the issue.
Creating a new request – non-vandal cases (e.g. user issues, page protection/undeletion, etc.)
1. Add a new section (+) to the page and enter an appropriate title (without using templates or links) in the subject field.
2. In the edit field, enter a short and neutral summary of the issue. Use the IP address or username here template to refer to users involved with the case and provide links to important pages or edits.
3. As a courtesy, also leave a message on the talk page of any involved user.
Deletion Candidates
There are 1,785 candidates for deletion, too many to display them here.

Vandal reports[]

Vandal Nk-blueberry (profile • talk • contribs (deleted) • logs • block log • block) Hello, I am posting here on behalf of the Ancients Awakened wiki. The linked user has been vandalizing our wiki for around a week. They have been changing the logo to an image of a boy (possibly themself), have added a fake boss page, and have changed our mod description to state that the mod is not being worked on for 1.4 which is false information. Reverting has not worked, our attempts to reason have failed and we have good reason to believe that they are a throwaway account of the user Vnaakaa who vandalized our wiki approximately a year ago. We are not capable of handling this ourselves and request help. Thank you for your time.

Vandal Vnaakaa (profile • talk • contribs (deleted) • logs • block log • block) Hello, Sorry if this doesn't fit the correct formatting. I am posting here on behalf of the Ancients Awakened wiki. This user keeps vandalizing our front page. We tried to reason with the user however he did not comply. We are not capable of handling this on our own and request help. Thank you for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sc0p3rWasTaken (talkcontribs) at 23:50, 13 January 2022‎ (UTC)

Continuously flooding The Stars Above's main page with images of a fat guy, specifically one being on the verge of straight nudity. Repeat offense, they did this a month ago too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smallam (talkcontribs) at 23:28, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Approval for creating a template for SGAmod[]

Incredibly sorry if this is not the correct location, please direct me to the correct place if this isn't it. I'm currently part of the team for SGAmod trying to create a wiki. I've noticed it would be helpful to create a template, very similar to the expert mode one, like this, for a difficulty mode the mod adds, but stylized differently (and which also links to the difficulty page, not to the normal expert mode page). As far as I'm aware, the template can't be on a sub-page, as in, I can't have a template of "SGAmod/Template:templatename". So this is me requesting approval to create a template on main domain. (Moreover, if someone can direct me on how to view raw template code, that would be nice. Like stated above, I want to view the code for the expert-mode template)

Bedrockbreakers (talk) 06:44, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

While there are no admins currently active, I can answer your questions. The template should be named "Template:SGAMod/Templatename", as this is the standard for modded templates. The source editor is the only way to edit templates, you'll have to use that. I could try to create the template, as I have some (limited) knowledge of the way the template works, but you might want to create it instead as you're helping with the wiki. --172.58.4.154 12:03, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
This is absolutely the right place for questions like these, don't worry. It's great to hear you want to create a wiki for your mod!
172.58.4.154 is correct, mod-specific templates are subtemplates of a Template:<modname>, and you don't require admin approval for creating them. I have taken a look at Template:SGAmod/Nightmare and fixed the problems it had. Most importantly, this wiki does not support localization like the vanilla wiki does, since there is no need for that as no translation project has started here yet. Therefore, you can't use l10n – simply hard-code the strings into the base template code. Secondly, don't use <style> tags. All styling should either be in MediaWiki:Common.css (preferred) or inline, i.e. hard-coded into the template. I have moved your styling code to Common.css; if you want to experiment with it, feel free to do that in your personal personal CSS, and when you want to publish changes for everyone to see, post what needs to be updated on MediaWiki talk:Common.css so an admin can apply your changes.
Should you need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask. You can also use the Community noticeboard, if you like.

The mod logo for Qwerty's Bosses and Items is outdated, but I can't upload the new version because it's used on the main page. Could somebody who has the proper user rights do it? — Godslayerchickennugget (talk | contribs) 14:01, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Sure, if you can provide a link to the new logo, I can update it. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 00:08, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
A bit late, I don't have a link to the new logo but I can upload a file that you could then use to update the logo. Would that work? — Godslayerchickennugget (talk | contribs)
Yes, that is possible, too. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 15:54, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Done, it's at File:New Logo (Qwerty's Bosses and Items).png. — Godslayerchickennugget (talk | contribs) 15:58, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Alright, main file is updated. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 16:11, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

Adding a new mod to the featured list[]

Hi Admin Team,

I've got the wiki for my mod, the Amulet of Many Minions, pretty well fleshed out. Would it be possible for you to add it to the featured mods list? Sorry if this is not the right place to ask, and thanks for the help!

Billybobmcbo (talk) 00:05, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi, sure, this is the right place. I've added the mod, good job! --Rye Greenwood (talk) 17:19, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Featured list request: Polarities Mod[]

Seeing as apparently this is the place to do this, I'd like to request adding the Polarities Mod wiki to the featured mods list. I've put a ton of work into it; excuse the bragging, but there's not a single red link and that's something pretty rare among even small mods here, let alone something with eight bosses, an event, and three new weapon subclasses. Give it a check, I think you'll be impressed! Thanks for your time! Bubbyboytoo81018 (talk) 20:33, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Good job! I've added it. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 02:57, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

Adding a mod to the mods dropdown[]

Hi Admin team,

I am sorry to bother with a similar request to the one I made several months ago, but would it be possible to add the Amulet Of Many Minions to the Mods dropdown on the navbar as well? I've recently gone through and touched up all the out of date content, so the wiki should be in a pretty good state. Thanks again for the help!

— Preceding unsigned comment added by Billybobmcbo (talkcontribs) at 23:54, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

The mod list in the top navigation bar (previously in the sidebar on the left) has been growing so much that it contains 33 mods at this point. There are two issues with this: The list is too long (with the new navigation bar at the top, only about half of the mods are even visible in the dropdown) and too arbitrary (the sizes, qualities, and ages of the mods differ, without any obvious criteria). For this reason, I've removed this list from the top navigation bar now. (I also replaced the same list on the main page with a list of random mods per day some time ago.)
Nonetheless, thank you for your contributions! Updating outdated content is always appreciated. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 14:36, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

Creating a Page for EternalResolve[]

Hi there community!

This is the first post I am creating for the mod wiki, but I have a few questions.

The mod I am looking to create a page for is EternalResolve (currently v1.1.3.2), the main issue is that this is not my mod and I am having a hard time trying to contact the authors of this mod. Eternal Resolve seems to have been created by a Chinese team and their localization and English information on the mod are limited to say the least. The mod was posted on the 1st of August and it is already shaping up to be a very interesting addition to the community.

If anyone could guide me in this predicament I would greatly appreciate it. Should I even try to create a mod page for this? Would I be against the community guidelines doing so? If anyone needs the link to the mod please feel free to contact me via this post, still not sure if I am allowed to post links here, again, very new to this!

Any plans to move to wiki.gg?[]

So we're all very aware that Gamepedia- or Fandom, ugh- has gone to crap lately, such is the fate of corporations. The official Terraria wiki and Thorium have already moved over to wiki.gg so I'm wondering if there's been any rumblings in the backrooms here about following suit, what do you guys think?

Bubbyboytoo81018 (talk) 17:21, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

As far as I'm aware, the plan is indeed to move over eventually as well. I don't know of any details about the schedule, though. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 11:51, 2 May 2022 (UTC)

My new mod (WIP) & Account ID issue/glitch[]

Hi. I am a new modder, working on creating the base pages for my WIP mod Adventurer's Dream. I want it to be added to the list of mods, even though it is a WIP and unreleased. Can you add it to the mod list?

Also, I have been experiencing account ID switching. For some reason, my account ID from time to time rotates between 168.212.252.46 and 73.109.88.135 and I don't know why, or how. Can any of you figure out what's happening to my account? When I can, I will change it to PsyTaranza.

Thanks, 168.212.252.46 19:06, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Hi, we're treating mods that are still in development as unreleased (from Terraria Mods Wiki:Adding Mods: "All Terraria mods in the main space on this wiki must be officially released, being defined that the mod owner has made the mod publicly available for download and play."), and as such they must remain in userspace.
As for your account: If your account name shows up as 168.212.252.46 and 73.109.88.135, then those are the IP addresses of the device(s) from which you edit the wiki. Create an account to have a consistent user name (e.g. PsyTaranza, if it's not already taken) that will show up as the account name for all edits you make while logged in to that account.

What happened to the heading template?[]

So... the main page is looking, well, weird. On my WIP mod's wiki, I checked and the headings looked like... normal text?! Did something happen to the heading template? What's going on?!

Please, help solve this mystery! 168.212.252.46 20:52, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

The page looked weird because it used tables for the layout. This method is pretty outdated and shouldn't be used anymore, because it forces a fixed layout that usually only looks like intended on a specific screen resolution. The flexbox model is more modern and allows a dynamic layout that adjusts itself to screen size. For instance, the boxes are displayed neatly underneath each other for readers on mobile screens, whereas on desktop screens, the large horizontal space is fully used to display the boxes next to each other.
I've changed the page in question to use the flexbox model, and I've also made it adjust itself automatically to dark mode, so that there are no weird colors when using dark mode.

Deleting every page and file on my user profile[]

My mods coming out within the next couple of days, and im just gonna completely revamp the entire thing from scratch https://terrariamods.fandom.com/wiki/User:BanditoH/Worlds_Collide?profile=no — Preceding unsigned comment added by BanditoH (talkcontribs) at 15:38, 4 July 2022 (UTC)

Hey! It's been 10 days but I can't seem to find "Worlds Collide" in the 1.3 Mod Browser nor the Steam Workshop. Has it been released yet? If not, then the wiki will have to remain in userspace as per the rules. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 17:59, 14 July 2022 (UTC)

Mod Overhaul[]

So, the boss pages for my mod were actually just concepts and weren't actually official. I have scrapped those concepts, but I don't have any great ideas for the base of my mod. Any ideas? P.S. I also want the candidates for deletion relating to my mod deleted, as those are just scrapped concepts. Thanks, 168.212.252.46 18:18, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

Adding a Mod to the mod list[]

Hello, my Mod Wiki Edorbis is in a pretty good state, is it possible to add it to the mod list page ? I plan to keep working on it, thanks if you decide to add it. Firefloy(talkcontribs (868) • logsblock log) 23:25 UTC 10 January 2023

Hi, feel free to do that yourself. Simply add to the bottom of the mod's main page and it will show up on the mod list and on the list of new mods automatically. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 01:29, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
Sorry, this was not what I meant, but it looks like you already realized that. I'll still correct myself for the record here: You need to add to the bottom of the mod's main page and create Category:Edorbis with the content . --Rye Greenwood (talk) 08:48, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
