The Ancient Miner is a pre-hardmode pickaxe dropped by the Ancient Machine. It is a special pickaxe, being able to mine a 3x3 block space instead of the usual 1 block. It can also mine palladium/cobalt and below, making it one of a few alternatives to the Reaver Shark (1.3 Version) and/or Molten Pickaxe.
Its best modifier is Light for harvesting purposes, and Legendary for combat purposes.
