Orbs

Orbs are a new type of summon weapon introduced by the Polarities Mod. They summon a single (usually; it is always a fixed number that is unaffected by minion or sentry slots, and doubled by the Chaos Flower) powerful minion that is tethered to the weapon as it's held by the player with a trail of some kind. Unlike regular minions, they will disappear as soon as the weapon is no longer actively being used, and must be channeled continuously in order to be of use. Their increased strength is justified by these limitations, and they often debuff enemies or buff players alongside their attacks in order to increase their effectiveness when used alongside other summon weapons.

Types

There are currently 9 different orbs available, 6 of which are Hardmode-exclusive.
