The Sky Shark is a Pre-Hardmode enemy found in Space. It quickly and erratically flies at players and is able to pass through blocks.

This enemy is extremely deadly to new players so exploration of the sky is not recommended early on.

No one asked for these guys. No one needs sharks that fly. But obviously, Terraria cares about no-one and Sky Sharks exist anyways. They glide through the skies, searching for a snack. Their diet consists of Harpies, Skytherflights, and Terrarians. Over the years, they have grown to target Terrarians, as while we put up a good fight, we do not damage their brains by being in their presence.
