The Ice Reaver is an uncommon Pre-Hardmode enemy found underwater in the Underground Snow biome. It remains stationary until it sees a player, after which it will swim towards them until they are close by and shoot large bubbles from a distance.

Variant of the ocean-dwelling Reaver, a notorious predatorial shellfish. It was said that when Varitide crossed the Icelands to get to safety, he brought with him Reavers as food for him and his followers. In the end, he had to release the Reavers as they could no longer support extra weight slowing them down. The Reavers who survived adapted to harsh cold, and their eyes produce even fiercer heat to keep them warm.
