The Fallen Overseer is an uncommon Hardmode enemy found within the The Void. It remains stationary while it fires 3 bursts of 2 shadow bolts before teleporting to a new spot, these shadow bolts can pass through walls when far away from the player or bounce off walls when close by. When below 50% health they fire 9 short ranged shadow bolts in a ring around themselves whenever they teleport.

Bestiary Entry[ | ]
Manifestations of the souls of Dungeon Overseers that have fallen to the dark. Coming back to haunt the living once more, the once-chosen of the Constructor himself are amongst the first to experience the signs of Void taint, but the last to fall. In so, they are forced to witness the agonizing pain of losing their comrades, which the Void and it's creatures use to play with their eventual victims. Once they have fully been devoured, the darkness and discontent of their last few years of 'life' are emphasized to unbearable proportions. Just like how the physically strong Protectors are mocked with physical pains, the once mentally sound Overseers are mocked with their ailing failures. The Fallen Overseers now stalk the land, as deadly to others as they are to themselves.
