The Hazmat Suit is a Hardmode accessory. It it obtained by right-clicking the special Hazmat Suit-wearing corpse in the Beta Sector of the Abandoned Lab, as well as being found in Lab Chests and Lab Crates, dropped by Hazmat Skeletons, Hazmat Zombies, or Bob the Blob, or sold by the Friendly T-Bot. When equipped, it grants immunity to the life-draining effects of water in the Wasteland and Abandoned Lab biomes, as well as the Heavy Radiation debuff and low-level radiation, allowing the player to handle weaker radioactive material. it can also protect the user from water damage while wearing a girus core.
