The Viral Meteorite is a mini-biome similar to the Meteorite. The Viral Meteorite will fall after Skeletron has been defeated in the world, to be more precise, the next morning after his defeat. The message "A dangerous virus now inhabits [world's name]". The Meteorite creates a crater of Viral Meteorite Ore, which can be used to craft Stand Arrows and other Stand related items. Putting Viral Meteorite Ore on normal Meteorite Ore will make the Viral Meteorite Ore spread to the normal Meteorite, this and farming Viral Miners are the only ways of obtaining more Viral Meteorite Ore, as of version 2.2.
