Protector Haniwa are summoned by Mayumi Joutouguu during the last stage of her boss fight (Expert mode: also summoned during third stage). The Protector Haniwa tries to position itself between Mayumi and the targeted player in order to absorb damage. However, its repositioning speed is very slow, so it is possible to get around it by circling Mayumi at a sufficient speed.
The Haniwa Protector is resummoned 8 seconds after it is killed, with the timer only counting down during Mayumi's attack phase.
If Mayumi is defeated, the Protector Haniwa is instantly destroyed.
