The Cursefire Thrower is a Hardmode ranged weapon that uses Cursefire Charges as ammunition. Like with the Flamethrower, every click of the attack button consumes one charge and generates five "lines" of fire in quick succession that can be spread over an area by moving the mouse while firing. Like with the weapon it is based upon, however, the damage of the attack is reduced by 15% for each subsequent enemy hit.

Unlike the Flamethrower the Cursefire Thrower can be used while underwater.
