The Ancient Machine is a late Pre-Hardmode post-Skeletron boss.
While the Ancient Machine is alive, the music Built to Destroy will play.
Summoning[ | ]
The Ancient Machine does not spawn on its own, and requires the player to summon it with an Ancient Emblem.
Behavior[ | ]
The Ancient Machine will teleport to a random location around the player ever 2.5 - 1.5 seconds depending on its health. Halfway between teleports it will do an attack.
Its basic attack is to fire an 
Ancient Energy 3 times (6 times if below half health on Expert mode) before doing a special attack. Its special attacks are:
- Firing a spread of 5 Ancient Energy, 4 after the initial 5 when below half health on Expert mode.
- Firing 2 Ancient Missiles, 4 when below half health on Expert mode.
- Summons 2 Ancient Minions, 4 when below half health on Expert mode.
