"Mutant is enraged!"
The Mutant's Fury is a post-Moon Lord Eternity Mode exclusive item that is always dropped by the Mutant. The item allows the player to fight an enraged version of the Mutant.
When used, the status message "Mutant is enraged!" will appear, and the Mutant will gain the following effects:
- Mutant's HP will be significantly increased, from 7,700,000 HP to 177,000,000 HP.
- All of Mutant's attacks will deal 4x their original damage.
- Mutant's defense will be doubled, from 360 defense to 720 defense.
- Throughout the fight, every vanilla boss (excluding King Slime) will be spawned once. One boss will be spawned every 5 seconds, and will inherit their Eternity Mode effects. They will drop all of their loot, including their Treasure Bags.
Using the Mutant's Fury while it's effects are active will produce the status message "Mutant is calm." and disable its effects.
Trivia[]
- Eater of Worlds and Brain of Cthulhu will both spawn at the same time if the Mutant is enraged.
- Formerly, if the player fought Mutant with the Calamity Mod installed, the Mutant would become enraged, similarly to the Mutant's Fury enrage. However, it lacked its boss spawning effects. This effect was removed in 1.3.96.4.
