The Coiled Thorns is craftable Jungle-themed whip with a range of around 14 tiles dealing crits around 10 to 14 tiles away. Like all whips, the Coiled Thorns only deal critical hits at the tip, cannot go through walls or deal random critical hits, and pierce all enemies they hit.

Its best Modifier is Godly. Although Ruthless provides better base damage, both Godly and Ruthless versions of the Coiled Thorns deal around the same amount of damage when dealing a normal hit and a critical hit.

Notes

• Despite the fact Leather Whip and Whiplash are meant to be the first craftable whips and first whips you get, the Coiled Thorns can be crafted before a single boss is defeated.

• The Coiled Thorns and the Vilelash both have the same range, but the Coiled Thorns can deal critical hits more easily than the Vilelash.
