The Brumous Beater is an early-game sword that works like a club. It deals more damge than an Iron Broadsword or Lead Broadsword. It is swung in an arc-like motion, making it useful for killing enemies that are capable of jumping and/or flying.

The Brumous Beater has a slow use time but high knockback, making it useful for keeping enemies away. It has a decent damage output for when you normally obtain it.

Its best modifier is Legendary.
