The Superstitous Jewel is a craftable light pet summoning item. It summons two phantom sharks and a Darksun Elemental to follow the player, along with surrounding them in a spinning endothermic aura with two large nightmare wings and two endothermic runes inside. It provides a light value of 5 in the Abyss.

- The designs of the light pets are based on the components of the Ascendant Spirit Essence material, as well as the pets used in the recipe.
- The design of the multiple crowns on the Darksun Elemental's head is based on the papal tiara, which was historically worn by popes.
- The runes and wings are a nod to biblical descriptions of angels.
- The design of the item sprite is based on a Feng Shui jewel, hence the item's tooltip describing its glassy appearance. The color blue is connected to wisdom.
- The buff tooltip is a reference to the anime InuYasha, specifically the events involving Mt. Hakurei. The show's plot also coincidentally revolves around a wish-granting jewel.
- The Shuttle Balloon in the recipe is a reference to the developer's several balloons they contributed to the mod.
- In the mod's configs you can enable Superstitious Spirit parade making all the pets used to make it appear as well.
- It has the highest abyss light level of any item in the game.
