Void Probe Control Unit
The Void Probe Control Unit is a Pre-Hardmode summon weapon that summons a void probe to fight for the player. This weapon is obtained from opening Oroboros Chests in The Void, or can also be obtained from opening Void Crates. The minion attacks by shooting void lasers quickly while keeping its distance away from the enemies.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Void Probe Control Unit has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
