Freedom Star is a post-Superancient tier gun that is the EX Version of the Mobian Buster. It has the ability to charge up power. Fully charged shots deal 8 times the base damage, and explodes, damaging its target further.

Its best modifier is Demonic, as it does not have any knockback, and thus cannot get modifiers that affect it.

Notes

• Freedom Star does not require ammunition.
• Despite the usetime being displayed as "Very Fast" the weapon does not actually have a usetime, this is due to the way the weapon charges.
• Due to it's damage and charging abilities, Freedom Star can be very useful for ranged players.

• Freedom Star's design is based off of the Polar Star from Cave Story, as is the Mobian Buster.
• Freedom Star functions similarly to Megaman X4's plasma shot.
• Freedom Star was actually created before it's base form, the Mobian Buster.
• Freedom Star is also a weapon in Mod of Redemption, and is dropped by Nebuleus. It looks and acts the same way, but it's purple.
• Freedom Star is a weapon that is quite famous of being too powerful, and the developer who is specialized with this weapon made memes about nerfing it.
  • And in the 1.0 update, this weapon was nerfed again, making the meme relevant.
