The Claw Baton is a Pre-Hardmode summon weapon that summons a Grip of Chaos to fight for the player. The minion attacks by charging towards the enemies and inflict its respective debuff depending on the grip type. This weapon has a chance to drop from Grips of Chaos. The minions summoned are similar to Dragon Claw and Hydra Claw enemies.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Claw Baton has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
