This is the official page of the Spear Overhaul Mod, currently under development by Riptide. It focuses on improving spears in Terraria. Spear Overhaul currently adds over 40+ items related to spears, whether it be spears, accessories, armor sets, and more! This wiki is brand new, so updates will come constantly. Core Features[ | ]
Spear Overhaul doesn't just add in more spears; it creates a better gameplay experience. Here's some cool stuff the mod has to offer:
Enhanced Spear AI[ | ]
Spears always seem to miss your target... but no longer! Spear AI now has a slight homing effect, allowing the user to actually hit enemies.
Throwable Spears[ | ]
All spears, including vanilla spears, can be thrown by right-clicking.
New Spear Damage Class[ | ]
Thrown spears use a new spear damage class, which can be improved by wearing armor and other modded accessories.
Bleeding[ | ]
Thrown spears cause the enemy to bleed. This effect can stack up to 3 times, and any enemy hit by a projectile or spear while bleeding takes 20% increased damage.
